PRESENTING
the Member's Choices...and there sure some real zingers this time.
So hold onto your hats because you are in for a treat.
Presenting in no order, just randomly posted.
SILK.....First up is Huronna's exquisite white Xmas set she made for me. I love everything about it from the beautiful tube
and the background design that goes so perfectly with it to the subtle animation. The sparkle on the eyes is lovely.
ANGEL.....What's not to love about Huronna's tag. All the sparkles, the lady is totally gorgeous.
And, I love the white... it's so refreshing. Beautiful.
FLAGRYL.....And though I absolutely love my exclusive tag by Huronna, she did herself proud with her Anna Dittman for Silk, just lovely white Christmas with perfected sparkles on the eyelids and the snowflakes and the tree. Exquisite:
ANITA.....I love Flagryl's snowmen and their movements up and down along with their hats. The facial movements bring them to life. The swinging holly finishes this cute set off perfectly.
ANITA.....SIlk made a classic Christmas Card!! This beautiful "card" is perfect and brings a lot of nostalgic feelings back to me. The gently burning candles, the glittery ribbon and little sparkles makes this tag a classic. This is from my challenge and is a snag.
ANGEL.....Silk always does such nice work. I like that the candles have a little different design. The candles flicker is perfect. And of course I always love this little sparkles
MILYN.....Silk has found a balance here between several eye-popping and contrasting effects. By itself, each could be overpowering, but together they create a sense of invitation and depth and a feeling of the overall themes of the holidays - indoors and out. The candles appear to light part of the border and the relative darkness of other areas plays to that.
I can see a lot of work here: Well done!
FLAGRYL.....I really like Arbee's rotating text in Anita's challenge, perfect timing with the flashing text. He's the AS text King
MILYN.....I love the purity of Flagryls tag, and the timing of the marquee. It really makes me feel like I am singing the tune. Getting this kind of timing right is not easy, and matching it to a tag that it will balance with is quite hard.
SILK.....Suzie's set she made for my challenge. She puts so much work into her sets and this one is no exception. Wonderful animation , a delightful tube, and the background design is perfect. The Under water effect on the leaves is lovely.
ANITA.....Suzie's tag..The eye blinks, tail swishes and little ear movements along with gently swaying leaves gives perfection to this sweet set. Very well done.
MILYN.....The chocolate background is used by Suzie to delicious effectiveness here; giving a sense of depth to the sweetness of this set. The animation is clever and well thought out and the plant placement brings focus to the text.
FLAGRYL......So good to see Milyn back creating and her Carlos Cartagena tag is her best yet. I like how she arranged the image in a circle frame and positioned it at the top with the stars as a base. Tutorial or nicely arranged scraps, well done
ANGEL.....Flagryl's Merry Christmas trimmed in gold with the gold stars brings out the beautiful blues in the tag. I love the soft animation. And it is a beautiful snag.
MILYN.....I loved Flagryl's tag for its balance and simplicity. The eye is moved around with deliberation always ending at the centering "C" of Christmas - and [memories] above it. I liked the gently swinging and bouncing balls echoing the swaying grass. A mesmerizing affect was achieved that helps keep the focus within the image long enough to take in the word art. I was confused by the credit line and queried Huronna. I was told Flagryl used to have a site where she taught the use of vectors and free shapes and had made the various items herself. That's impressive. Extra applause!
MARY.....Flagryl posted this on the snags thread. Not sure if it is new but I simply cannot pass up a snowman! I wish he would hug me like that too!
SILK.....Another of Huronna's from her exclusive thread is this one she made for Anita. Wonderful owl tube and of course the animation is perfect. The quilting books are an inspired touch for our quilt maker. An unusual festive Xmas set.
MILYN.....Nobody does elegance quite like Huronna, and nearly every one of the sets in her exclusive thread of gifts demonstrates that (I really could talk about each one!) But vivid, elegant, and quietly humorous together is truly noteworthy. I am particularly impressed by the subtle touches like the sifting tiny snowfall and the double eyelid closure as well as the bold palette and the witty titles.
ANITA.....Huronna and- Oh the froggies!! LOL I love that each one of them is doing something different. I can imagine the songs coming from those throats. Too cute.
MARY.....this one from Huronna as it is hysterical. I can just picture it. These little froggies are adorable
MILYN.....When I think comedy and Christmas i don't go to the pond... But This clever tag with it's perfect garland glitter really puts a unique spin on how much we all love those family singalongs - or not, lol. Huronna has done a wonderful balancing act of animating the singers in much the same way a group of caroler's would be when they first start out. Some loudly forging ahead and others trying to find the page. I really unusual and clever tag!
ANITA..... love the colors of Silk's set! It's "burple"!! It reminds me of our "burple" lady. The gently falling snow and that little sparkle is all this beauty needs. I just wish she had a coat on, she makes me shiver! LOL
MARY.....This one from Silk is so beautiful! I love the purples and I think it a well put together tag all the way around! And it's sparkly!!
FLAGRYL.....Silk does not disappoint with her Very Many purple Wintertime tag. I like how she arranged her credits, both vertically and horizonally and used soft light on the layers as Huronna has introduced. Snow nicely arranged with a couple of starry pops.
Elegant:
MILYN.....Arbee's congratulations tag is a very clever creation using many different elements and a vivid color palette - but black and white in the center on the focal item; the handshake. The hands are amazing, and the handshake believable. By making it black and white the eye is drawn up and down from action to text - and contained by the golden curves reminiscent of a trophy. Well done!
MILYN.....I found this tag of Flagryl's to be outstandingly delightful. The background reminds me of a building. Riding the star road is the message of Christmas Eve... And that jaunty wave! The animation of the shapes, the idea itself, and the work involved... Kudos! I grinned from ear to ear.
Wow! That is definitely a lot of beautiful work done by everyone!
I want to thank you all for giving me your choices and for the great reasons.
This is the last outstanding thread for 2020.
