1.We're going to make a decorative frame with three main borders or as many as you wish , and varied widths... you may separate the main borders with narrow borders ...whatever pleases you. 2.Use patterns, scrap papers, psp filters or any other filter to get interesting effects. ( this is a chance to experiment with some of those filters you have and rarely use.) 3.Make a set using your frame to either frame your entire tag or as part of your tag. This will probably make a largish tag . 4.You may use tubes, elements etc. 5. Make a set for someone else or and yourself. You might want to save your frame for yourself or donate it to ALST. 6. Tell us what you did to make your frame. I remember how I loved to make frames a long time ago ,so visiting the past. Animate and credit appropriately.

Here is my effort. On the wide borders I used Graphics Plus cross shadow before adding decoration. Then an inner bevel on my first and third borders after decorating. Silver bead pattern for my thin borders. PSP texture Blinds on the side panel. For other patterns I used a scrap paper, Filter AP Motion>Paint blocked . Filter Deformation dementia and warp; FU Buttons and frames on my second wider border. Edge effects and sharpen on my patterns. I hope you have as much fun as I did making my frame.(pm to be sent)
Silk, this one can't go in the safe tubes as it has a © on it and also the addition of the flowers which are embellishments made from something, perhaps a ding font. SIlk's frame redone which is now is the safe tubes

Oh my that is a beautiful frame especially the way the right side is a little larger. I do remember the days of frames, in fact that was how I started with PSP, framing the ferret pictures of my members when we had contest. It's been a long time since then, but this should be lots of fun

I could make frames all day, love this. And here's the frame if you'd like it. You can go to File, Export to Picture Frame and use in PSP

Made the frames from bits of other challenges formed into squares and did rotate colours.
The dog is from ALST but I juggled around with it a bit to get the effect.

Those are all beauties Huronna. I've been waiting to see them as sets....part of the challenge. I love the gold one particularly and the blue is very pretty. A nice selection of snags too. Flargly that last one is beautifujl. I'd like to know how everyone made their frames....what filters etc.

Grabed your banner Flagryl and the frame
Mine so far were from tutorials I found from 2013 or so, only filters of PSP, bevels and drop shadow. One did use Eyecandy 3.1 for a drop shadow....so you know hoe old those frame tuts are.

I made mine up as I went along. Combo of black and gold 1 pixel borders. I used an orange tile I had made previously, and then added Screenworks Lace Screen to the first wide border. Then Simple Diamonds on the next wide border. I promoted it to layer, deleted it from below and filled that area w/white and then lowered the opacity of the promoted layer. Then used the tile again on the 3rd wide border and used Eye candy jiggle for the varied splotches. I've done so many I just mixed and matched things.

Thanks for the discription ladies. I really wanted to know since part of the challenge was how you filled the borders to make them uniquely yours. Now to see a couple of sets .

Had the frame stashed away for something else but didn't use it. So I thought I might as well do something with it. The date was 2013 so dont't ask what I did - LOL The humming bird and flower are from ALST and the ripples are Sqirlz.
