I am missing you all SO much and had to try to come in and say hello.
The spider bite is pretty much gone. Still a mark there and a bit of itch, but much better than before.
Now the other issue of the eye condition I have is much more complicated to handle. It is called Map Dot Fingerprint Dystrophy. Along with that I also have corneal erosion which makes the dry eye syndrome worse.
I have had this since the age of 15 or 16, so I am used to not seeing clearly, but my right eye has always been the worst and now I can hardly see out of it, thus my absence.
We are going to try a new drop and see if it helps, but I dont hold much hope for it. Trying to focus out of my left eye that is not clear either, but better than the right, gives me headaches, so I am trying to do all I can to remedy this. On Jen's last eye doctor visit, hers told her she is in the beginning stage of this also. 😢
I will try to be here as much as I can, but it might be awhile before it is full time again.
I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who is making sets for me in this absence and to Huronna for saving all of them for me. I have not looked at them yet and it will have to wait for my next time here, but I know they will be gorgeous. All of you make such beautiful things. Thank you again.
Until next time........

You did shock me when I saw you name I wondered if it was Phoenix again. I'll still keep collecting, that reminds me I have to add your name to an AD WWO before I forget. Stay safe and I'll talk to you soon.

Nice to see you Anita. Prayers for your eyes. Don't do to much computer time as it will put a stain on them. Welcome back... even if it's part time.

Thank you so much for the good wishes.
Bite is healed and gone, but the vision is the same. I am not holding much hope for much of a change.
October I will have a new appointment with the VA for new glasses. I go to them even though I have a specialist because my glasses are so expensive I can't buy them. I always take my prescription from them to my other doctor so he can tell me if it is right or not. Yup, I know, I'm bad, but Heidi's Joe goes to the VA also and she knows those trials. Lol
In the meantime I try to do what I can, but so far I haven't read any of my books or done any stitching, which drives me nuts. Lol
I'm trying to get this figured out so I can get back here before our world traveler goes off on a cruise. I feel like I have left her in a bind here and I'm so sorry about that, but I always knew this condition would cause problems as I aged. I was told that by the time I reached my late 20's 😢
Heidi, you don't have to keep saving for me if you don't want to. I so appreciate it and I am going to open the laptop this weekend and try to get one PM emptied out into Fotki and change my clothes.
Silk and Flagryl, You don't know how much I appreciate the work you do here with the challenges. You help in more ways than you know. Thank you!
I will see you all for a bit this weekend.
