Today I present those outstanding tags picked by your peers, and of course some from me also.
They are in no particular order, but I will denote who pick each tag and why.
There was one stipulation and that was it was to be something new from the last set of outstanding tags.
Sometimes our rememberers don't work as well as we'd like, and one tag picked was already featured in the last group. I should have notified the person, but was a bit occupied, so I apologize, and I will include it again due to my error. But in the future, please pick tags presented AFTER the last thread has been put up.
Ok here we go!
Silk's first choice was made by Suzie and her reason was "Beautiful background and interesting colours.
Lovely tube and quote. Elegant animation."
One of Flaggrl's Choices was designed by Silk. Great Reasons!
"I was too late to get this Disturbing Thoughts one from Silk but admire it.
I love the subtle colors and animation.
I know what it takes to do some of the more complicated tutorials and I applaud Silk for seeing this one through.
I also admire her willingness to admit to the issues w/credits.
She'll learn from it and that's what's important.
I'm surprised she didn't get the AS jaggies with the light blended tones
but the light touch on the animation probably solved that problem. WELL DONE!"
Though this tag was made for the Zone Auction.
It attracted the full attention of Nickel when displayed on the show and tell thread.
Nickel's description of Tramp's design was "love the combination of grey background and colored tube.
Makes the Lady really pop out."
Silk's second choice was a design by Susy.
The reasons were "I don't usually care for flashing backgrounds but this is an exception.
Love the colours and the tube. plus the design."
Susy picked this tag made by MsKel.
I love this reason "Now here is simplicity and beauty all wrapped up in one.
I don't know whether it's the flowers or the text but it drew me right to it.
Loving her big. bold text."
This was another choice by Nickel.
The design was by Huronna and the reason was
"these are my colors and the blending of the tube is just perfect.
It looks like she will disappear in a second and never will be seen again"
One of my choices was this tag by MsKel.
Returning after a long hiatus, Karen has jumped right back in as if she never left.
This was one of her first offerings. It is simple, clean and with just a hint of delicate animation.
A very good beginning and a designer to keep an eye on.
For a lady that always like burple, this was a surprise pick by Betsy.
Huronna's design was from a scrap challenge and Betsy's reason for the pick
"I love the deep, rich red and black in this one. Kind of mysterious."
Another one I picked is arbee's take on the background challenge.
Grabbing all three backgrounds, mixing them up in his imagination...
he definitely swings and does his own thing.
This tag caught the eye of quite a few people and I was thrilled.
Susy picked it and said..."I didn't even have to go and look at this set again cause I've been staring at it since you offered it.
This raccoon is the cutest of the cute cuties. LOL It's the creme de la creme!
The little walking stick movement and his fur movement are top knotch.......so well done."
Flagryl's comments made me blush..."I loved your Kajenna Autumn, so well done.
Love the blended colors AND the complexity of the bkground w/image.
You are a master, should I say mistress,
of artful complexity because you can blend a variety of decos/emblishments into one tag and pull it off.
Not many can do that artfully."
Anita choose this tag also saying'I LOVE this set.
You know me and my raccoons and this one, paired with Dan's photo takes me back home again.
I love the color, the animation and of course the subject.
I will wear this one all year round. It is too beautiful for just one season!! my racoon"
We don't often make tags anymore
and Marilyn loved this one that Flagryl made saying
"The movement on the flower really caught my eye and the tag is beautiful."
Another tag made during this time period by Huronna was picked by Betsy
"This sweet little sprite put a smile on my face!"
Another one of my picks was this beauty made by Anita.
The way the tube, background and ALST combined with the message made my heart do a flip flop.
Another one of Marilyn's picsk was this cutie made by Laura.
"I thought this one from Laura was so cute.
The nose movement was all that was needed"
Though I had picked this tag last time, it must have really made an impression on Suzie,
because she picked it again saying " Nickel made this come alive with very little animation
and makes you feel like you are right there and those shoes are on your own feel.
Feeling relaxed as the lazy river rolls by."
This was another one of my picks.
Made by Flagryl, I loved the different shades of browns, the combination of plug-in used,
the very strange image...everything that made this one outstanding and unique.
I also picked this one made by Betsy.
It was from the scrap kit challenge at AD.
The grey background helped to really set off the shades of red in the tubes she used.
It was a snag, but not sure if she brought it over to AL, so I thought I would.
There have been a lot of tags lates with the Alicia owls,
but Anita pointed out this special one made by Polly for this reason
"Polly's Cute Alert!!! I love this one by Polly in your challenge thread.
The color is very soothing and since I also love owls, this caught my eye.
Look at those eyes!! and the head movement on one of them is great too.
Love the polka dot moon and Lilies of the Valley.
A flower my Mom and Grandmom always had!"
Wow! What a collection we have this time!
Aren't they all great?
I want to thank those who took the time to pick a favorite and sned it to me with their reasons.
This always helps the designer.
I hope you had fun doing this and we will do it again next month.
