I have so much fun doing this thread and I hope that you enjoy it also.
So without further ado...LET'S BRING THEM ON!!
And since I've been so selfish doing this thread I invited all of your ro participate.
So I will show off your picks first with your comments.
Mandy's tag which combined the globe challenge and Betsy's king and queen was picked because
"I loved them both and the way they were combined"
This "no nonsense" tag by Carol was chosen by a couple of people.
There is a lot going on in this set and you really have to sit and look at all the different animations.
She gets it all moving at just the right times. Her animation skills are top notch.
It was really difficult to choose just one, but I picked this one because it is hilarious and appeals to my sense of humour.
Also the animation is fabulous.... an all round fab tag!
Of course it's great to have Mandy back, she's a true artist and her work on images is truly amazing.
Her latest snag set is here and is my favorite among some tough competition.
Jerboa is cute with a novel text and a complex animation.
Friends not War brings up a serious topic in a cute way, a double meaning.
The feather also reminds me of Benjamin Franklin or Thomas Jefferson,
taking the whole war theme to more than one decade
and the old conflict across the pond, not just current conflicts. Yet the old cat and mouse game is age old.
There were many favs this week and it was hard.
Chosen for a few reasons, one is because its just so great to see Mandy back and offering wonderful creations.
Also because besides having a important message, its also very funny.
Of course the animation is super and it made me smile and I love the bright color.
I love the background she made as well.
I liked Joy's tag It made me smile and I love the bright color
I picked Nickel The subtle animation, beautiful tube, the quote is lovely,
the background is also subtle...all in all a very elegant tag.
I really liked both of the things Susy made, but this one just spoke to me.
I am so impressed with how she uses the backgrounds and this dragon is scary in a cute way.
Her animation is always so well done too. It is a great tag.
I picked Silk It's adorable and reminds me of my daughter when she was young with her curly hair.
I use to say that poem to her all the time and she'd say "Oh Mom, but all of my hair is curly". LOL
Normally most of Carol's animations makes me nervous ...a little bit too much of animation LOL
But this one really catchet my eye! And of course i missed it!
Beautiful tube, nice eye blink and the whiskers so well done.
So? Did you have fun or was it really difficult to just pick one? Do you want to do it again? Let me know.
And here are the rest of my picks.
Of course many of the ones you picked, I also had on my list
but I have a few additional ones that need to be showcased.
I loved this train tag by Holly.
Seems they don't know whether they are coming or going...like many of us.
You can just imagine one's self on that train
I liked a lot of the globe challenge results.
Maybe because we had not seen them in a while.
I love this kitty of Ruth's. Guess I'd never seen it before.
She sure looks cold with all that snow.
I have no idea when GB made this tag, but it was posted by someone
and I just had to snag it while it was up.
I thought it was a real hoot!So I brought it here for you to snag also
This globe by Silk reminds me of a very small snow globe that you would have with your favorite treasures on a shelf.
I could imagine it being only a couple of inches in height, Mini-globe
Sher did this one for the mask challenge.
Normall she does tags not forum sets, so this was a challenge for her and she did it well.
And when was the last time we saw a pixel?
Adele brought us this one. What a happy little penguin he is.
Check out those dancing feet.
Look carefully, and along with Diane's lovely prose you will see a colorful wee little fish
that just adds a smidgen of color to this tag.
And...how could I not put this one up? Susy came right to my heart with this imaginative Steeler's Tag.
To bad it didn't work, but I'll save it in hope of next year.
There you have it.....OUR picks this time.
I thank you for your participation and let me know if you want to help out again sometime.
