I don't remember falling, but there is a stabbing pain in my right bun that runs down my right leg. Should I be worried?
I just got back from lunch with Lammy. I feel a whole lot better when I stand, but it's really embarrassing to stand when Lamb is sitting.
The last time I was in this much pain I had shingles. Ooooooh, I hope that horror has not revisited me.
But other than my broken right bun, I am doing great! I hope you all are too.
I think I might wimp out on walking today. Maybe I will use my hula dance video instead.
And of course I plan to PSP like a fiend.
It's 41 F here and cloudy. SUpposed to rain. Better not snow.
Love to all, Your friend Grassy

Sounds like it might be Sciatica Grassy. That is what I am dealing with right now.....darn stuff has been hanging on for a few weeks now. Sure wish it would go away.
I am glad you are doing well otherwise. Geez, wonder how they would cast a broken bun..........!!! LOL

It may not be broken, but I'm sure it's cracked....hee hee did I say that? Looks like we are all being bothered by different aches and pains. I've got Dr appt at 8 tomorrow am, now that in itself is a real pain
Hope you feel better, both of you

Ooooooh I hope they wouldn't have to put my bun in traction! Yikes!
I am not at all bothered by standing or walking, but sitting really hurts. I hope it won't interfere with my PSPing. I will go get a couch cushion and kneel before I will stop PSPing. I guess I am addicted.
What leads me to believe it could be shingles is my left bun and left side of my back feel like they are on fire. Shingles tends to follow a nerve. What if I have both? Oh how much would that stink?

Huronna that is so funny! I almost choked on my gum! LOL!
Dr. apt? Nothing is wrong is it?
One thing I can be thankful for is at least is crappy outside. How much sadder would I be if I didn't feel well and it were sunny?!

Sciatica was the first thing I thought of, too.....but maybe that's because I have trouble with it.
It does sound a wee bit addicted.....lol I've already decided that I shall have to garden in segments. Out for a little while and in sitting for awhile. Everything grows so close to the ground and involves bending which really sends that sciatic into a frenzy. It's a huge garden, so I'll get extra exercise goig up and down the 4 steps....lol
I did kind of break my butt when I was much younger. I slipped on the stairs and landed on the edge of a step. It really messed up the tailbone.
I think you should take two Tylenol and move the puter to a countertop....lol

Who's Dr. Feelgood? LOL. I hope nothing bad is wrong. With any of us. I can say I have been sleeping like ten hours a night these past few nights and that is unheard of for me. They told me when I turned 40 everything would go to hay-ell. I never thought it was a literal assessment of the situation LOL.

Hi Neo! I may need to schedule an appt. to find out for sure. This right bun stuff began just this morning, so maybe there's a chance at it going away? Or doesn't sciatica go away? What do you do for it if that is sciantica? I know for shingles you just take some medicine and wait it out and it goes away in a little bit. I will take a shower today instead of a tubbie so I won't have to worry about breaking my butt for real lowering myself into the tub.
I am serious you guy - I love PSP so much! You guys do too, I know.

If I had an appendix, I would suspect that, but that left my body back in 1966 LOL, but I have always been very healthy only a rare bump in the road, so when something just isn't right, it's time to check it out. It really is a bear getting older.

Neo I have the solution for you. When I garden I have two big garbage bags, One for the weeds and junk and the other to sit on. That keeps me right at the same level as the garden and weeds and not bending up and down

Grassy, usually Sciatica is a life long curse. Mine if from my Degenerative Disc Disease in my lower back. I take Prednisone for it to reduce the swelling in the back and places, and sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. Right now I am through with the dose pack it comes in and it hasn't budged it, so the doctor is sending me some pills, same thing, just stronger, and not the dose pack pills. I get good use from my heating pad and hot showers, but at times nothing really helps. I just have to be very careful how I sit, stand, lay, move, etc., etc. It goes away, but never totally, I don't think. Like a lot of other things you just have to be careful what you do.
If that don't go away, and you have had Shingles before, I would not hesitate calling your doctor to have it checked out.
Yes Huronna, getting older is a "pain"!!!!

I hope you feel better Huronna. I hope you feel better Neo and Anita.
My mom used to warn me about sitting cross legged on the floor for hours on end. She said it was bad for me. Maybe she was right and now I am about to pay for not listening to her?

I even sit that way on the couch when I watch TV. If my computer chair were big enough I would probably do it there.
Toodles...I'm off to work

Have fun at work. Be careful. Be good.
I am so happy someone else sits like I do. I get looks from Lamb because I always sit all curled up. It's comfy for me.

Ouch, sounds sore. I think you should go to the dr. What if you cracked your hip joint? The more you leave it the worse it could get. Just my advice, for what it's worth. Hope you feel better soon.

I hope y'all feel better real soon. My left hip was in bad shape over the weekend. I think I've been sitting too much. But then, like everyone else here, I'm addicted!!! I don't hurt today. Except for my sides from laughing at the mental picture of Grassy's butt in a cast. Walt cracked his tailbone many years ago. Ouch!!!
