I have spent much of this day learning about Super Blade Pro and Blade Pro.
I found a couple tuts to explain it and take me through some settings. It also explained how to manage presets better, because I've discovered that many people want either text or link credits if I use their presets.
Therefore, I'm going to try to make some of my own and/or find some that don't require the links, etc.
At least it isn't as gosh-awful scary as it was yesterday....lol
Then I ended up at Flaming Pear. They also have some tutorials. What I do want to figure out is how to make previews for the original presets.
Then there weere some extra free ones and who can pass those up....lol
I don't even use these things very often, but I do want a couple nice settings that will do want I expect.
I know....I know....most of you are probably pros with it by now.

I have used it a few times Neo. Mostly for a glass effect.. Which works great. I probably have hundreds of presets that I have collected over the years and now I don't even know why I collected them. Because I never use them. Guess I grabbed them just because they were there and they were FREE.

I have half a gabillion of them, and I got SBP for my birthday last year. I tell you what, it is the best investment ever. I am not even sure if I am using it right, but I am having so much fun with it. Pretty much any frame I make has either SBP or Eye Candy applied to it. But you know me - I will just get on there and push buttons whether it's right or wrong. LOL.
I hope you go have a little snack and rest your brain for a minute.

So far I haven't see a whole lot of difference between SBP and PSP... I know there is but when I look at a tag made with SBP and then PSP the difference is so minor I'm not sure the extra price is worth it... If I was a pro and made my living at it, I supposed it would be worthwhile to get the bigger program and you could deduct it from your taxes LOL... but I just do this for fun... (I wouldn't mind having their glass effect though)...

I have SBP and struggle with the settings all the time. I'd love to see some good tuts. Maybe I should go back and read the tuts at their site.

This tut is the best I've seen yet. Been looking at many of them. I played for a quick minute and this is what I ended up with. Thanks tons. Walt says they look like fishing weights (dipsies). I started with that ice that Carol uses and went from there. I saved the settings and I saved a screen shot. If anyone wants the settings, I'll be glad to PM the screen shot. I have no clue how to share the actual settings.

These are the 3 I did, so far. I have to tell you......I did these 3 as part of the lesson and I was stacking the up on another canvas until I was finished. I can't remember what I was doing, but psp shut down and poof they were gone. Mu autosave doesn;t work so they were really poof. Just now it dawned on me....duh, Neo. ...the lessons had me making presets for these. So here they are again.

This is the lesson I started with. It's for Blade Pro, but it's usuable to get the fundamentals. Then it goes to using Super Blade Pro and then to making your own. jomay.com/presets/bpbasics/bpbasics.html

Those are neat neo, I had that site save to look later, She go's into it so I wanted to save it for later, I like what you did, I found out something else, I'm find a whole lot about this filter and what it can do. Don't know why I never look into it , I made this tag and, used super blade on the text, I also use it to glitter it to animate, how cool is this, it will work on alot but not smooth presets, you just have to play. Here is the site. www.greatkris.com/mytutorials/miscsbpglitter.shtml I made Betsy 2 tags , different, Neo if you want one with your name , just let me know and I'll do it, I was going to put it up as a wwo, but the glitter would be different ( I like different)LOL My sig is different , it's how it's suppose to look like the Tut. Here are the different setting and presets.

The middle on is really glitzy. I'll have to tinker with it, too. I got side tracked working on gold.
