Well, of course I couldn't stand not knowing how it would look, so I went ahead and added the extra beany guy positions. He looks a bit like he's in a trance......perhaps he's just in the groove....lol I'm going to wait until I get all the moving done before I concentrate on the balls and string.

I think he is just enchanted with the sound of the Canastas. lol I can't wait to see the balls on his hat moving and swaying to the "music"!

He is beginning to look WICKED......in both senses of the word! His arms are really smooth now, so you got them licked Now, if only I read your text and not just watch the animation...I might even learn something You do have some patience there...

What the heck is going on now, you ask? Well, I had to take him through 3 more frames to get him ready to jump. I think I'm done for today. I already have those jump positions from the beginning. I'll have to decide what I wnat his arms to do during the jump and how high I want him into the air. Then on to those balls.....lol

Here is where it is this morning...now I must pop into the shower before I even think about those balls moving...lol As it is now, it's 154 kbs. I would like a couple rotations of the mving arms before the jump, but I'll have to see what moving the balls does to the file size.

It dawned on me that I had put the longer frame in there while I was building it. Here it is with all the frames at a speed of 10. I think I can live with this if I have to limit it to one rotation and one jump.

Ack!!!! Annoying. IE7 seems to 'drop' the connection alot more frequently than IE6 did. Once it does, no amount of refreshing will help. Let's see if I can recall what I had written. Before I started the balls, I added brim movement for the up and down of the jump. I don't think I will for the side to side tilt. I also think I'm going to synchronize the ball movements so they are less distracting. That's the plan as of now...lol

Plan A for the balls wasn't doing as I would like.....on to plan B. But first we seem to have water leaking in the basement from whence we cannot find. Nothing seems to be leaking upstairs, but it's coming from the ceiling of the basement. I need my Sherlocke personna.

Where the heck did Neo go? That is the question. Yuppers, Sherlocke found the leak. It wasn't a big scary deal either. The thing that was the problem were the balls. okay...okay ......the balls are just little round vector objects. The problem was me and my stubbornness. It does me in quite often. I had it in my head that I was going to make the balls sway because, after all, that should be easier and culmunate it less bytes.. I held onto that plan and held on to that plan......nevermind, that I could wrap my brain around those balls would sway with the hat moving. Whatever I tried just didn't create noticeable animation. So I left it for awhile. Last night was Dancing with the Stars and Castle, so it wasn't hard to ignore it...lol Finally this morning I said.....back to square one so to speak and I'll just make them bounce around. Easy peasy, wouldn't you know. I still have to line up the strings to the balls. Also, as it sits now, it is 142 kbs, so I'll hoping I can double the first 8 frames of the head tilting.

Now .....a couple things.....I have no caption......ack! Also, the first one has 3 jumps and is 360 kbs, while the second one has 2 jumps and has 290 kbs. I'm not sure whether the tradeoff is worth it.
