Can you believe this? I'm early. That's only happened a couple of times. It was easy. Sally posted her watch snags and the assorted parts to go into our safe tubes. It started shouting "challenge" at me and who am I to deprive a pocket watch that wants to be a challenge? lol Thanks bunches, Sally. I've already put it into our safe tubes, so the credit can be to Sally or to the safe tubes. Partly that will depend on any other images you use, if any. Add some animation, of course, and post the resulting tag in this same thread. You will have to select the parts and place them on layers of their own and arrange them. You may or may not want to lower the opacity of the glass layer. I haven't started on it yet, so I can't say for sure. Newbies, join right in and work to your knowledge and ability. This is a challenge, not a contest. It's for fun, inspiration, and fellowship.

WooHoo, I got one done before the day was up and I started it after midnight. LOL Thanks for the cool watch parts Sal. I saved this when yoou offered them and didn't know what to do with it, but here is my tag and it is a snag. I didn't lower the opacity because I think the way it is makes it look more old, like the picture is faded after years of use. Enjoy!

Goodness, we've got some great tags already. I'm so glad Gizzy's pink nose didn't get covered up. What a beautiful face.
I must say, Anita.....that was good thinking. That's an excellent place for water animation and the sailboat was a great choice.
By jove, I think that's perfect glittering, Silk. It sets the bird off beautifully. The bird is a cool choice for a clock face. He says good morning, world.
Thanks for doing the challenge, ladies. Super work.

Apparently if the bird is early enough, he can get two worms. Just don't turn catatonic trying to make up your mind which to grab first, birdie. What a cute use of a pocket watch, Carol. Thanks for doing the challenge.

I see you have a fancy decorated cover. Nice design. It's good to keep the cat on the outside and the bird on the inside. Peace.....just a soft chirp and mew and tick tock, that way....lol Nice animating. Thanks for joining in the challenge this week. I appreciate it.

Oh Neophyte!! this is a great challenge!! congratulations to all who tried it!! I gave up already! I find it so hard to get to separate each watch item! how can I do it??? I tried croping each part, and placing it as a new layer each time, but still got into problems! oh well!! maybe next Friday

That makes for a great personal memory tag, Jocelyne. Did you and your cousin see alot of each other growing up? Do you still? Nice animating. Kudos. Thanks for doing the challenge.

Steve, don't use the crop tool, use the selection tool or the free selection tool set on point to point. When you get a part selected, Edit/Cut and then Edit/Paste as a New Layer. Then stack the layers in the correct order and align them. Remember to go back to the original layer for each new selection.

Thank you Neophyte - yes me and my cousin are very close, even thought we are 160 miles apart, we talk to each other every day.
Take care
Jocelyne :-)
