My best friend Alberta and her husband will be arriving sometime this weekend from Western North Carolina and will be here for at least 2 weeks.
Harold is bringing his big coffee maker so I think he will be settling in nicely. LOL He will also be bringing me some real estate catalogs so I can look over the offerings back home, so this will be a great visit. I have missed Alberta so much and it has been a little over 5 years since I have seen her.
I will pop in early mornings and if I have time in the afternoon, but definitely in the evening while resting a bit. We plan on doing some things around here as they have never been to South Dakota. We are probably going to the badlands and also to see Mount Rushmore. If we do I will be sure to get photos.

Thank you ladies. Huronna, yes, over 5 long years of not being with friends, and none here it will be awesome to have someone to talk to beside Callie and Gracie. But I do like talking to them too. LOL Harold said when time gets closer and I start choosing things I want to see they will go look at it for me and take pics, check for any issues, etc. He is very good with that stuff so I trust his judgement. I am so looking forward to this visit. I think I needed this a lot more than I realized. Silk, there is always a lot of interesting things in that book, it is just aa matter of can I afford it. LOL That green stuff has a way of getting in the way sometimes.

Terrific, always good to spend time with dear friends. Don't forget that many listings are online these days and you can see the inside of the house as well. Both realtors and individuals put their listings with loads on photos online. Usually by the time something is printed it's out of date.

Flagryl, I am signed up with Zillow and Realtor.com also. I get at least 3 emails a week from both of them . I love scrolling through and looking at some of these homes, but they are usually too fancy for me. I am more of a rustic/country girl so I tend to lean toward log homes or small places in the woods. John and I never lived in town, always in the country all of our married life, so where I am now was sticker shock so-to-speak. LOL

Lainey, you know me so well. The saying "the mountains are calling and I must go " is more true than people know. I know I was needed here to help my daughter and grand daughter's get through the ordeal they suffered, but it is time to go home now. The rest of the family will follow in 2 years when Phoenix graduates HS. Xx
