I though I was doing well here and then the I had a colon cancer test and hubby and I gave a sample. That was on Sept 4th at the doctor's office. John had a appointment with our regular doctor that day. The following morning I get a call from the doctor's nurse Chrissy saying my colon cancer test sample came back positive and the doctor wanted me to have a upper GI endoscopy done. I have 2 doctors I can go to and have this done. I have to go back to my regular doctor next month for my 3 month checkup and then we shall talk again. I have till the end of the year to have this done. I'm not thrilled about it but I guess I need to get it done. So please keep me in your prayers.

Do not put this test off Margie. The quicker it is done the sooner they can get working on it. You will be sedated for the test so you won't know a thing.
Many prayers for a good outcome. Keep us in the loop and come in when you can. We will be here.

Ditto what Anita said. Go have this done ASAP. Hospitals have gastro docs who do this regularly. Yes, you will be sedated and it's quick. Sooner the better. Drive to where you can get the first appt.

Love and prayers. Please please please get in as soon as you can. It's better to get it done and rule it out than to have it hanging around worrying you.

Margie . More often than not these scares are polyps or caused by other things. I know it's hard not to be scared and the anxiety is difficult to deal with. Thinking of you.

You have gotten great advice here from your friends and now you need to take that advice. Do not hesitate. The soon you have the test, the sooner you can either have what needs to be done or maybe find out all was false positives.
Sending prayers your way

Thanks for all your kind works and advice here to. Right now I have another health issue as well. I fell on Monday at Casey's in the parking lot and banged up my left knee, so went to the doctor and didn't break and bones or tear anything either. Which is good to hear. Will take 7 to 10 days for it to hear. Then I go to the regular doctor Oct 3rd and make my appointment for the upper GI.
