Do you all remember Mothra, from the Saturday afternoon Sci Fi movies? We had a visitor. We couldn't identify the moth, but he was big and beautiful, so I called him Mothra. He hung out in our garage for about 6 hours. Sid took pictures. He has more if you want them. Sid is an amateur photographer. He says you can do anything you want to with the pictures, just credit as Minnesota Sunset, which is his photography name. He has sold a few pictures. If you use them as backgrounds or items such as tiles where Mothra is not definitely a moth, no credit is needed. We did identify him. He is an Atlas Moth. If I put this in the wrong place, please let me know where to put pictures because I have gobs and gobs of pictures I can share with you.

He is definitely colorful. How big was he? The first one would make an interesting tube for the safe tube collection, but you'll have to check with Sid first. Images that go in the safe tube collection are then credited as ALST when used. Because the are donated from members and can be used in combinations with each other or even as embellishments on other tags, there is no ©. It's like a humongous scrap kit.
Let me know and I'll sharpen up a couple areas on the first one and tube it, But need to make sure Sid is ok with that. Also this is the only posting board.
If Sid is in agreement and you have others , try to make one thread and add to it . Then if the thread gets too long, start another. Just so there isn't 20 short photo threads , one fat thread is better

Sid says yes, that is OK to do. He is delighted to donate. I will begin a thread of all pictures then. It will have both Sid's and my pictures in it. Coolios!

Oh grassy. I forgot to say....PLEASE don't post any spiders or snakes in the thread. Those are 2 things Hur and I don't need to see. We don't want to be strolling thru the thread and get a shock, if you know what I mean. Neither one of us need a visit to the ER.

I promise no spiders, snakes or ants. I warned about the moth because I have a friend who is deathly terrified of butterflies. It is called lepidopteraphobia. There may be lots of frogs and toads hee hee. I love them so! The moth pictured is about an inch and a half high with a wingspan of about three inches. Atlas moths are one of the largest species of moth.

Ooooooo they sound so pretty! I love all kinds of frogs. I knew someone who had blue frogs, but you had to handle them carefully.
