Sometimes a gryl just needs to dress up, helps the healing! Silk, I bought that skirt years ago on sale...couldn't pass it up. First time I'v worn it. Wanted to wear it with a white lace teddy but with my neck and hands couldn't snap it. Worried I'd get there and have to go potty and then where would I be!! LOL PS The beaded belt wrap is from my Granmother, Cloisonne beads at the ends. It could be from the 20s. I double it for a belt and have also worn as a long necklace, knotted.

I just noticed the little incision area. It will fade in no time short. Joe's looks like a neck wrinkle....hmmm you don't have many wrinkles girl, so you may have to wait until your are much older HA HA

It's going to be visable for sure. I bought some 100% medical silicone scar gel and have been applying it several times a day. I've used Vit E oil on non-visible scars but decided to up the ante for this one. It's tight but coming along. A scar means we've survived, should be the WordArt for a tag!

Ovarian cyst on one side and tumor on Fallopian tube on the other. And back then they automatically took out the appendix is you were opened up abdominally. I was a junior in college, second semester. big smile from one side to the other. and two weeks later I was at a downtown DC disco dancing with my BF and bumped into the Dr's nurse. Had a check up that week and Doc was amazed at how fast and well I had healed. You can't eek me down now and you couldn't back then either HA HA

Have to admit I do love elegant clothes flagryl and your skirt is it. I too have a cloisone belt and quite a few scars decorating my body ., I still wore a bikini with a largish scar from my youth...to heck with it; in fact I wore a two piece until I was 50 ish....can't even get in the tub now for a splash....frustrating when the sea in in sight.

Oh dear me Huronna, that's huge...especially at that age. Bless you. Glad they also took the appendix. Can't believe you were dancing 2 weeks later. When I had my hysterectomy in 2008 the doc went in through my navel for Laparoscopic surgery. I can barely feel the subtle scar inside my navel.
And, Silk, horray for you wearing the bikini into your 50s I made it to my mid-40s but then gave it away and am sorry I did. Not because I'd wear it again but it was amazing. I'm sorry you can't splash in the sea. I understand.
