This is always the fun time...picks by your peers
So let’s see what tickled their fancy.
BETSY- This bug of MsKel's really tickled my funnybone. I wonder what he's drinking.
ANITA-When I saw this tag I was glad I wasn't drinking anything because I would have been cleaning my laptop.
lol The eye and cheek movement is too funny, and the animation on the straw is great.
The quote is awesome with this particular tube. Great job, Karen!!
RUTH- MsKel has impressed me with the color, graphics and sparkle, this has it all and a great wink.
MIMI-MsKel's I like zany tags and this definitely fits.
FLAGRYL-I really loved Anita's latest. The soft, just-right animation makes it truly lovely and using Riverside's flower is special indeed
SILK-The first is Anita's peacful reflections.I like the lovely underwater effect, the colours and the unusual, half frame. It is indeed a peaceful tag.
SUSY-Anita's set is one of the most gorgeous flower sets I have seen in quite some time. Everything about it is spot on.
The water animation adds the perfect touch. It is definitely a "peaceful reflection" of just pure beauty.
MSKEL-This one by Anita. It caught my eye as soon as I saw this one.
The colours, composition and animation just drew me in and took me to a calm and serene place.
Love this tag! Well done!! xx
MIMI-Anita's Elegance comes together with beauty.
NICKEL-My first choice. A beautiful composed tag. The colors are to die for and the animation is spot on.
It's one of Anita's best images i have ever seen. Two simple flowers can make me feel in heaven.
RUTH-I really love the way MsKel did the
underwater around the frame and just the right amount of sparkle
in the hair...well done. this has it all and a great wink.
ANITA-Arbee - he always comes up with the most interesting ideas. And they get onto the "paper" from his brain and look great, unlike mine. lolI love how the letters are going back and forth and dip into the water and back out. The drawing of the ice is great.
He made it look real with the cracks all around the hole too. Great work
FLAGRYL-I also like MsKel's Vintage tag: Being partial to Vintage lace, I loved how she incorporated the lace into the AV.
I admit to being biased because she used my doo dad in Safetubes, hadn't seen anyone use it in a while so that caught my eye.
FLAGRYL-I also thought Casey's Juri Ueda was well done, can't animate her,
but that nice lil sparkle line at the bottom really highlighted the image!
SILK-My second pick is Casey's Juri Ueda tag.
I love this artist and Casey has made a lovely delicate tag with well designed background and pretty pastels.
SUSY-This Juri Ueda set by Casey is so soft and just grabs your attention.
The animation at the bottom adds so much to the whole set.It definitely shows you what friends are for.
RUTH-MsKel has impressed me with the color, graphics and sparkle
FLAGRYL-Susy's cube snag was also eye catching.
She was smart to rotate the cube around the credits, which would not have rotated well.Very cute
NICKEL-The way huronna did this background, super! The tube was well chosen, it fits perfectly.
The flutterby is spot on. And so the rest of your animations.
And the best ... i got one LOL
BETSY- Flagryl's take on Nickel's background. I love the glitzy boots and hat and the toe tapping. Do I hear Glen Campbell singing?
MIMI-Flagryl...I like all things western. Being fromTexas,I am used to boots and hats. This saying is one of my faavorites.
FLAGRYL-I was also impressed with Huronna's Jeff Haynie using Nickel's example,
I thought your using the bevel on your name on top of that transparent layer worked. AS doesn't like opaque transparency but I thought it looked fine.
MARILYN-Not only is the pig made by Susy but the animation by Flagryl is perfect and gave me a good laugh.
MSKEL-What can I say, this one by our Boss Lady is just stunning! I loved the tube first but the colour blends of blue and brown are just so darned pretty,I could look at this one forever and still appreciate its beauty. And what a strange world indeed!
Now I have a few of my own picks. Maybe I was a bit partial to the results in Betsy's challenge because it was my photos
But these we just absolutely fantastic and I will tell you why.
Arbee's eagle animation. Many times you can see where the replacement has taken place.
But in this case, which is the original and which is the alteration. It makes you wonder.
And a great job of it, Well done Arbee
Flagryl gifted this set to me, but that is not why I picked it. A cute little nose and eye movement.
But what really sets it off is the simplicity of the tag itself and the message it sends. Oh so true!
Oh and I just noitced...an old Hur background LOL
A Nickel special. Her own imagination style, with black and white and a touch of vibrant red.
She makes it look like there was water flowing down that rock, but I was there and it wasn't even wet. Great job!
And the page trying to turn...another catchy animation. I'm only jealous that I didn't get one.
After all it was my photo and I listened this time and didn't use it HA HA
Silk's pick of images and using the Nickel style background, keeping it muted with the photo definitely the start of the tag.
And of course introducing us to yet another cool font.
And Mimi definitively made me giggle with this one.
Her blends of the images makes you wonder....which is the good side?
ALL OF THEM!!
So there you have it. Did you have fun?
If you didn't send me you picks aren't you sorry now that you didn't? Well maybe next time you won’t be so shy.
If you noticed, there were some people who submitted more than one favorite.
Though normally I request you pick only two, I was quite excited to see the enthusiasm
I decided this time I would feature every tag.
There was one submission that had already been highlighted last time, and therefor it was not used.
I did PM the picker, but never got another choice.
So keep on animating and we’ll all keep on watching, waiting and clapping our hands.
What a fun way to show off each others goodies!
