For about a month now lots of my plugins shut down my psp . I am frustrated because I can't do many tuts. I ran them through FM Patcher but that was no better. I have reinstalled my psp but no change. Iv'e done the Zap jasc. I am fast losing interest in making anything. has this happened to anyone else?

I had trouble with X2 on my laptop. I've been using 9 on it and it's working fine now. My laptop is Windows7.
What version of PSP are you using? And what operating system?

What version of PSP are you using? And what operating system? Have you downloaded all the updates and patches for PSP, do you have all the dll in the right folders?

That just happened to me with my Xenoefx Constellation. I was about to flip! I saved my pic, closed PSP, re-opened it, and did everything on a new layer. That seemed to work for me. I also found that if Filter Patcher was not functioning, Filters Unlimited worked for me. I just imported into Filters Unlimited and I got a greater number of plugins to work for me.

That is why I haven't been doing animated tags because when I bought my laptop and it was windows 8 the plug ins were not working. Some were but most weren't And yes I have all the dils etc that was needed and still nothing. Wish they would work with the newest laptops. Is it another way for uus to spend more money to update to other things. I can't get psp 7. I have 8 - 9 - 10 & x2 .

I found out when I got this new Windows8 in November that I had the dll's in the wrong folder. I have a 64 bit now and they were suppose to be in the SysWOW64 folder,....not the System or System32 folder as I did before.

Thanks everyone for your responses...I think we are twins Joy...you'd be the youngest one!! I have Windows 7 and psp9 that I love. Susy and Madlin I added all the dlls to the sysWow64 bit right from when I got Win7. All worked well for 3 years and now this. Gussey I'll try to import to FU. Nothing to lose.

When I got 7, I did not know about the location change, but then I think Huronna told me and it's been good. Except for the Xenoefx filters and my Fun House. Flagryl told me about Filter Patcher and Barb told me about Filters Unlimited. Good luck! :-) Boy with these doggone computers, it it's not one thing it's another huh?

I put mine in the right folder from the beginning and I am still having trouble getting them to work for me. I will have to try the Filters Unlimited.

Silk, do you have the 64bit maschine or the 32bit maschine. For 64bit they belong in the SysWow64 folder and for the 32bit they belong in the System32 folder.

I had the same problem when I changed over from my XP to this Win8. I tried it for days and then I went to FU one day and they were all there. I'm sorry Silk but I don't know what else to add here.
Linda, Silk said that she has them in the right folder, hon. She stated that in the above post #7.

Ok Susy, I was just wondering because I have them in both folders and Silk doesn't mention if she has 64bit or 32 bit Win7. Sorry for repeating my questions

If it isn't one thing, it is another with those filters. Mine are working now, but who knows when they will not. I have Windows 7 and PSP 9. Huronna did send me the info when I was having trouble and they worked once I got them in the right place. Once you reach my age change just drives a person round the bend. I think GBs rememberer is contagious.
