A forest Ranger he was Barb, and a big one at that. And as soon as he started his little speech the heavens opened up and the rain came down. Most of the land part it was cold windy and raining. I wore so many layers I felt like a bag lady
The cash register was in a store in Anchorage, only on display..it was actually a coin and Alaskan metal store.
I was putting some titles on the photos and realized I didn't upload all of them to PB. Will have to turn on the lap top again later and upload the rest. Most are wonderful flowers and wild flowers
Thanks Carol. WOW I can just take photos and site back while you make me tags LOL Love it!!
Definitely a worn out puppy. 11 hour plane ride is not my cup of tea. I'm finally all unpacked and have my little gifties in little piles to give to friends when I see them. It was hard to buy things though because so much was not "made in Alaska" Even the bone carvings were "made in China"
Joe is from Pittsburgh and a staunch Steeler fan. My gym bag is even a Steeler one and using it to go back and forth to work with the Bucs fans I sometimes get hisses HA HA. Palin was pretty life size and Joe loves having his photo taken with silly things.
Hmm...rhon? You must have arrived whilst I was gone. From your # of posts already I see you are not shy and probably have fit right in. Very cute set you are wearing that Sherry made.
I must tell you all about my purse. Remember the one that Rita made me with the embroidered ferret? I lost count of the number of people who asked my what store I bought it in. Of course they thought it was an otter (what do they know) . And it was just a perfect size, my umbrella fit in, and camera in one of the pouches , batteries and of course credit card. I'll have to e-mail Rita since she doesn't come around too often.
You don't have to worry anymore GB...until next time. We have already decided on where, but not when, how or for how long. But it was someplace I visited over 30 years ago and Joe was not able to go. One of the few places that will have totally changed in 30 years as far as tourism goes...but that will come much later.
Now to go through the bills and get them paid before I get charged interest. Yipes No!
